MEET DR. LISA DUCKLES
Dr. Lisa Duckles is originally from New Jersey, known for its incredible bagels and pizza! After earning her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from American International College in Massachusetts, where she also played field hockey and lacrosse, she attended dental school at Roseman University in Utah. There, she was honored to receive the Distinguished Professionalism and Ethics award.
Following graduation, she practiced dentistry in Cape Cod for three years before falling in love with Bellingham during a visit her in-laws. In September 2024, she moved here and has absolutely loved every moment.
Dr. Duckles is thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside her mentor and friend, Dr. McRory. They were introduced through a mutual dental colleague and immediately he recognized her shared passion for dentistry and commitment to excellence.

Outside the Office
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Duckles loves exploring all that Bellingham has to offer. She enjoys running, hiking, biking, fishing, cheering against the New England Patriots (Go Giants!), and spending quality time with her wife, dog, and cat.
Dr. Duckles is fully committed to providing the same exceptional care that Dr. McRory’s patients have come to expect. Creating a welcoming and comfortable environment is her top priority, and she is honored to serve the Bellingham community.
Schooling and Continuing Dental Education
As a lifelong learner, Dr. Duckles dedicates countless hours each year to continuing education to ensure her patients receive the best possible care. She has completed all the core courses at the renowned Pankey Institute, an organization focused on providing high-quality training for dentists. She is proud to serve on the Pankey Institute’s Board of Advisors and continues to take courses regularly.
Professional Affiliations
Dr. Duckles is a member of two study clubs alongside Dr. McRory: the Pacific Northwest Gnathologic Study Club, which focuses on complex comprehensive dentistry, and the Academy of RV Tucker Study Club, which specializes in gold restorations.
